San Diego County Chapter Ready to Go- Area Supporters, Business Owners & Business People Are Welcome & Much Needed To Join In The American Indian Chamber of Commerce from California's San Diego Chapter is ready to go, the first formal event will be a "kick-off" luncheon coming in September. Pre-planning in on-going so stay tuned for the details. The Chamber Chapter guidelines are: • Geographic regions are to be no closer than 1 1/2 hours driving distance from each other - our goal regions to start Chapters are in San Diego County, Central Joaquin Valley/Fresno Area, Central Coast (Santa Barbara/Santa Maria Region), Sacramento and the Bay Area. • Each region must be founded with no less than five certified general members • A Chapter Formational Coordinator must be named to arrange and communicate with Chapter members and Chamber Board • Once formed the more formal Chapter organization will include a Chapter Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary/Treasurer and after a year formational period will have one seat on the state board The Chamber is actively seeking American Indian business people from throughout the state to join in and form a Chapter in their area, a Chapter that will be committed to the mission of the Chamber and to a spirit of joining in one voice for all American Indian business people in California.
