Special Guest Speaker #1 – A Green Building Guru!
Barbara Van Gaasbeek, National Administrator, Green Bldg Programs
Ms. Van Gaasbeek is responsible for Honda's renown green buildings nationwide.  She works to ensure that the buildings are certifiable by the US Green Building Council.  Ms. Van Gaasbeek is constantly researching all current sustainable events, products, systems and general information relevant to green building.  Ms. Van Gaasbeek is Honda's representative to the US Green Building Council and assists with communicating green information to various Honda department and the media.

& Special Guest Speaker #2 – A Waste Recycling Expert!
John Savage, Administrator, of Records Management Dept
Mr. Savage is responsible for the overall management of AHM records and information and the management of office and warehouse material(s) recycling, reduction and reuse.  In the management of office and warehouse recyclable materials, Mr. Savage has created numerous environmental programs, that allow each Honda associate to actively support and participate in AHM's overall efforts to help protect and preserve the environment.  AHM' s environmental program has received numerous awards, including the highest state level award, "The Waste Reduction Award Program of the Year."  AHM recycled over 4 million pounds of materials in 2007!

& Special Guest Speaker #3 – The Recycling Procurement Agent!
Laurie Kuecker, C.P.M., A.P.P., Senior Corporate Procurement
Ms. Kuecker supports many aspects of Honda Purchasing including: Human Resources; Finance; Corporate Affairs; and Community Relations.  She has been on the Honda Procurement team for over 13 years and works to include minority-owned and woman-owned small businesses into the Honda procurement process.  She also works on the recycling programs.
